I’ve listened to that lady talk before. Her presentation is basically a bunch of self-indulgent wankery talking about her mountain climbing, and how the villages in Nepal or wherever use teamwork to avoid starving or freezing to death. It’s useless for actual motivation of the audience.

I actually liked it, at least she’s actually done something difficult

The most uncomfortable one I ever sat through was this young guy with disabilities in a wheel chair telling us all how you can overcome your disadvantages and still succeed. The crowd ate it up, and I guess he had cred to say that. But I have such an allergy to self promotion that I almost broke out in hives.
